Under 19 Contact Football
The Under 19 team plays 9 a side football on a full size field with Offense, Defense and Special Teams. The game takes place on a full size field and consists of four quarters. On each possession the Offense needs to advance the ball 10 yards in 4 plays (downs). If they fail to do so, possession is handed to the opposition and they attempt to progress the ball down the field.
To be eligible for the Under 19 you have to be 18 or younger on the 31st August of the previous year. (E.g for the 2022 season you must be under 19 on August 31st 2021.) The minimum age is 16 years old.
Our Under 16 team play a 5 a side version of the game on a smaller 50 yard by 25 yard field. It is full contact with each team attempting to gain a first down by crossing the halfway line before attempting to score a touchdown by passing or running the ball. There are no special teams.
To be eligible for the Under 16 you have to be 15 or younger on the 31st August of the previous year. (E.g for the 2022 season you must be under 16 on August 31st 2021.) The minimum age is 13 years old.
